Functions of the Protection Working Group:
•   Develop a work plan for the Protection Working Group
Develop mechanisms for sharing information and handling violations of children’s rights to protection from violence, abuse and neglect
Ensure ongoing vulnerability assessments in terms of levels and dynamics among children and their families
Share information and other intervention experiences on child protection
Develop a resource data bank on available information and experts in child protection
Develop a coherent response strategy with partners, including advocacy, intervention priorit, setting timeframes and the mapping of existing protection interventions
Discuss fundraising initiatives and activities
