The SADC VAC informs policy formulation, development programmes and emergency interventions aimed at reducing vulnerability in southern Africa. OCHA supports this process through an improved flow of information between stakeholders.

The Vulnerability Assessment Dissemination Platform serves as a reference and institutional memory. It offers a compilation of essential reports and documentation. It also provides a forum for sharing information on vulnerability assessments, as well as promoting key events and practices.
