IN THE SPOTLIGHT
DMA-WFP Targeting Exercise Maps
WFP and the DMA surveyed 1,520 villages in the Southern Lowlands and Senqu River Valley areas of Lesotho from August to October 2005. The survey found that 39,000 households were considered to be vulnerable to hunger and poverty, representing approximately 195,000 people. The research results were mapped in order to illustrate these findings.
